This is my cat, Drizzit (also known as Drizziebell). She's a Seal point
Snowshoe. She's about 7 years old now. I got her 1 day after my old cat, Mooka, passed away from cancer. I have
lived with cats my whole life, and at that time, she was my only family and couldn't stand to be alone.
I truly think she was a dog in her last life. She drags her butt across the
floor, chases her tail, and runs into the door. She also plays tennis with small mice and has a fetish about small pieces
of paper and hair. Lately she has taken to running around the house making this strange noise and bouncing of people. She's
scratched both of us on many mornings. She's now well used to my boyfriend and tries to sleep on him now (although he
doesn't like it).
And since I went back to work, I get ambushed when I return home every day. In fact
she hears you coming and starts "meowing" through the door at you. She's right there when I open the door and wants to know
where the hell have I been!

Her breed was created in the 1960's by crossing an American Bi-Color Shorthair with a Siamese. Snowshoes all have the Siamese
coloration with white patches on their chests, toes, necks, and faces. The white on their faces can extend up their noses
in a V-shape or be just on their lower face, IE: chin area. The two different markings are known as Mitted or....shot, I forgot.
In temperament, she's mostly Siamese. Loyal, stubborn, talkative, she's highly protective and jealous of her human. She doesn't
like other cats in her house in any shape or form. I have tried twice to introduce a playmate to her, both time failed horribly
and I have to find a new home for the other cat.
She'll open up to other people after she learns that they:
A) aren't gonna take momma away
B) that they aren't gonna take her away or out of her house
C)they just want to pet the kitty :)
